I know I haven't stopped by for a LOOONG time, but I've been working on the shop quite a bit and doing a lot of sewing. Below, you can find some of the new items in my SHOP. You can also check out the shop on Facebook.
Also, Scott started virtual school. It has been going pretty good. We have a few kinks here and there that need to be worked out, but we have been looking into another school IN the district that might work better for us. No matter which school he continues with, he has been excelling since being out of the traditional school environment.
Ok, on to the photos...

Long overdue!!
Ok, so it's been forever since I've updated. It's not like many people check this page, but a few rare family members and friends stop by and probably think I fell off the face of the earth. Don't fret my pet... we are here all in one happy piece. :0) I have been spending a lot of time working on my online boutique Heartmade Creations. You can visit us on Etsy and Facebook as well as check our our new Blog. Boy, Doog and Hubs are all doing well too. Hubs has moved back home from CO and is settling in. Scott just started 6th grade this year!!! I actually realized just tonight that he is officially going through puberty now too. 0_0 Scary stuff!
Anywho, if you're anything like me, you'd rather see some pictures instead of having to read a lot of text.... soooo here ya go! Here are some photos of my products in the shop. Aren't these little models so cute!!?

Go Big or Go Home!
That's what they say anyways. So, that's what I did. With my graphics being worked on, I have gone full throttle with promotions for my shop, Heartmade Creations. The shop has been entered in several giveaways with such a great response. We are building our fans at a great pace and hope to keep it going. Oh, and I say "we" because my little man is in on the fun too! Scott will be making fabric keychains and other small gift items to help save for his college fund. :0)

Updating Time.....
So, I've been lazy and haven't written in a while. I apologize. Forgive me. I am back... so do not fret my pretties. :0)
I have been working on organizing my shop lately. I am currently working on my graphics with the lovely Kristen over at Ahoy Graphics! I am in the process of choosing my font and color scheme. This is what I have so far....
Do you love it!!!!!???? I DO! I DO! I can't wait to continue on this process and see what unfolds next. I'm doing surprisingly well (I think) for being a usually indecisive person. 0_o
I have also been working on my sewing skills with lots of different styles of little girl skirts. They are so much fun to make! I have two signature skirts now... one being named after my bestie's little girl, Sandra and the other still in the works (cause an idea in my head still makes it official right?). Here are some of the items I have completed.....
OH OH OH, also, my Aunt Debbie (as if I have any other aunt lol) introduced me to a lovely little gift boutique over in Eagle Rock called Heather's Store. (also on Facebook). Now, several of my items can be found at the store!!! AND, I already got my first sale through the store as well. :0)
Other than my creative endeavors, there has been a few updates on the home front as well. My dear Hubbin is currently serving his two week summer drill over in Haiti. He has been gone almost a week now and is doing well. It has been hard seeing all the children who are so hungry and not being able to do anything about it. Sadly, if you give a small child some food they would be beaten by bigger children for the food. :0/ He has organized, with his Sgt., a group to go out of the base and "mingle" with the villagers and try to shift the attitude to a more positive one between soldiers and locals. I am so proud of all the work he is doing. He is truly my hero! Today, he waited in line for over an hour just to get a 6 minute phone call home to Scott and I. What more could you ask for in a mate!? He has stolen my heart and never would I dare turning him in for it. ;0)
We will be leaving in a few weeks to go visit Hubs up in CO for a month. I am so excited and cannot wait for that long 16 hour drive to see my man again! Just to fall asleep in his arms again will be more than I can ask for (since we haven't had a real bed for a few years now!)
Anywho, that is about it. We are all doing well and moving forward and can't wait to see what the future has in store for us. I know it's bright! :0)

Skirts Galore!
Maybe galore is a bit of an exaggeration, but I do have some new skirts that I have been working on. One is a typical twirl skirt done in two matching fabrics and the other is also a twirl skirt but with a flat front. I love the idea of a flat front because it gives you space to place a pin or other embellishment. I was given the idea to make suspender type straps onto the skirts with some cute buttons in the front, but I am passing on that for now as I don't quite know how to size things like that. Definatly an idea to keep for the future. I love rompers and such and would love to make a little skirt type romper!
Anywho, here are some photos. Each of the skirts will come with a matching hair clip. There is also a matching diaper cover shown that does not come with, but just happens to be in the same matching fabric so I have added it. It's my first diaper cover and they are SO CUTE and fun to make! The "Blue Blossom" skirt also comes with a rosette pin that can be removed before washing. These are two styles that I will have in the shop once things are set up. Still have a lot of work to do first, but almost there! :0)
